About Us

Copley Woodlands is a 40-unit Independent Living Retirement Community in the heart of Stowe, Vermont.  The Woodlands was built in 1998 and designed by the Burley Partnership, an internationally-known architectural firm.

Our staff is dedicated to supporting your well-being. Here, you are close to the activities you love and can remain comfortable in your own home for years to come. Our spacious units average 1,100 square feet, with an option to lease or own.  Pets are welcome!

The Woodlands was built in Stowe to take advantage of this unique four-season resort town. Stowe features a variety of events and activities year-round as well as outdoor recreation ranging from biking and hiking to golfing and kayaking to skiing and snowshoeing. We are close to Stowe’s 5.5 mile scenic Recreation Path. The library, post office, restaurants, galleries, and shops are all within walking distance of the Woodlands.

The independent retirement community is a partnership between Copley Health Systems and University of Vermont Medical Center.

“Copley Woodlands” has been the perfect place. There are a lot of mentally stimulating activities: an exercise class, games, poetry, and weekly movies. Copley Woodlands is conveniently located; we can walk to the post office, and there are plenty of shops and things to do.”
